This is a local role in charge of overseeing end to end HR Operations in Singapore. You will be part of the pioneer team in Singapore in charge of establishing best HR practices in line with organisation's global policies.

About Our Client

Our client is a renowned global hospitality player who is looking to expand their brand presence in the APAC region. This is a leadership position as part of the local management team. You will be reporting directly to the HR Director of APAC and manage a team of 2 direct reports.

Job Description

  • Maintain organisation guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures aligned to local labour regulations.
  • Oversee the recruitment process through internal and external recruitment channels to find, attract and retain capable applicants.
  • Serve as a link between management and employees in handling employee grievances or any HR-related queries.
  • Analyse training needs to design employee development, language training and health and safety programs.
  • Own the performance management cycle and evaluate the performance of subordinates to opine on their promotion, merit increases, transfers, disciplinary measures and/or termination.
  • Administer Company's HR System to ensure its smooth and accurate operation and update.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related majors
  • At least 8 years of experience in the field of hospitality, with 3 years in management capacity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and strategic thinking ability
  • Dynamic working style and a team player with ability to work independently
