Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



  • Processing of Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions:
    • Manage the entire lifecycle of corporate actions, including dividends, stock splits, mergers, and rights issues.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing in accordance with market deadlines and internal procedures.


  • Client Notification and Communication:
    • Inform clients promptly about corporate action events and their potential impacts.
    • Provide clear instructions and guidance to clients regarding their options and required actions.


  • Reconciliation and Record Maintenance:
    • Perform daily reconciliation of corporate action entitlements and positions.
    • Maintain accurate records of all corporate action events and related client instructions.


  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with corporate actions processing.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.


  • Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Custody, Settlements, and Client Services, to ensure seamless operations.
    • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in corporate actions within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Understanding of global corporate action events and market practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
