Control-M Specialist focuses on supporting and enhancing global middleware platforms by ensuring their reliability, performance, and continuous delivery through automation and operational excellence. The specialist works within a production operations team to manage key technologies (e.g., Control-M, Axway, IBM MQ), troubleshoot issues, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive ongoing improvements in service quality and system efficiency

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage global middleware production services and platforms
  • Ensure system reliability, availability, and operational stability
  • Troubleshoot incidents and handle problem, change, and service requests
  • Collaborate with development, project, and business stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation and performance optimization
  • Analyze and resolve platform performance issues proactively
  • Develop and enhance middleware systems, interfaces, and self-service capabilities

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 4 years' experience in OS, middleware, monitoring, and scripting tools
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)
  • Exposure to DevOps and automation tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible)
  • Ability to support shift work and participate in on-call rotations
  • Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills
  • Experience in banking/financial services or relevant certifications is a plus
