Our client is a reputable international corporation with longstanding success in market expansion within several sectors including FMCG, Technology, Healthcare and more. They have a track record in their offering consultancy, strategic insights and market expansion recommendations to clients globally, and within Asia Pacific scene. As they expand, they are looking for an experienced Consumer Insights Manager to manage the Insights and Market Research team in Singapore.

Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager and the Director of Business & Consumer Insights, APAC, you will be challenged to the following:

  • Leading and driving the Business Intelligence team consisting of 8-10 team members which includes Business Intelligence Coordinators and Specialists to ensure delivery of KPIs
  • Coaching and managing Business Intelligence team to leverage on technology to drive efficiency and improve work processes
  • Ensuring proper data collection from internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitating and analysing data with the Operations team to engage clients, identify business opportunities and to drive growth for the businesses
  • Leveraging on reports to propose feasible solutions for clients
  • Developing and automating the business to ensure optimal operational excellence through systems, reporting and process improvements
  • Reviewing performance reporting using data analysis to offer solutions and best practices to drive growth for the organisation and the clients
  • Enhancing the strategies and data capabilities that aligns with current market trends
  • Evaluating and utilising data reports to advice the General Manager on effectiveness of proposals

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Statistics or any relevant field
  • 7 years or more total experience role within market research or business intelligence functions
  • 4 years or more experience in a leadership and strong capability to drive and influence employees from at all levels
  • Knowledge and skillset in advanced excel functions such as VBAs and Macros and experience in Data Visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Programming Knowledge with programmes such as Python will be advantageous
  • A high level of initiative and strategic thinking abilities
