Job Description

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual Group consolidation across shipping and real estate entities.
  • Review financial submissions from multiple overseas subsidiaries and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
  • Perform intercompany eliminations, reconciliations, and maintain consistency of financial data.
  • Manage Group budgeting, consolidate division budgets, and prepare variance analysis.
  • Prepare full sets of financial statements and consolidated statements under SFRS/IFRS.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
  • Manage year‑end audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
  • Oversee corporate tax, transfer pricing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support ECI filings, respond to tax queries, and handle tax audits.
  • Handle accounting entries, review audited FS, and manage annual audits including bank confirmations.
  • Prepare and review Tax Returns and ad‑hoc tax advice.
  • Oversee annual banking compliance requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with a solid grounding in audit and financial reporting.
  • Strong hands‑on experience in group consolidation and preparing full sets of financial statements.
  • Good working knowledge of SFRS / IFRS and familiarity with multi‑entity, cross‑border reporting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with both internal teams and overseas offices.
  • Detail‑oriented, meticulous, and able to work independently while being a collaborative team player in a dynamic environment.
