About Our Client
Our client a Family owned spirits company with a global foot print is rapidly expanding in the APAC region and needs a legal/ compliance professional to drive their compliance programs and oversea their CSA project. It is an exciting time to join this company and see a project through to completion and establish other compliance programmes.
Reporting to the Regional Legal Counsel in Singapore, this role will manage the roll out of the Control Self-Assessment (CSA) project. Also Formulate and drive compliance programs and initiatives - including anti-bribery and corruption, data protection, competition law etc - to all APAC markets, and ensure that compliance policies are well implemented. Be creative in bring compliance to life, through engaging training and innovative communication. Includes planning and delivering training to APAC markets on legal compliance topics.
It is a Business-partner role with regional Compliance Champions to provide pragmatic advice and support regarding compliance monitoring, controls and investigations, so as to deliver improvement in compliance, controls and risk management.
The Successful Applicant
LLB, JD or equivalent, and qualified in at least one APAC jurisdiction.
At least 4+ PQE in a legal, regulatory or compliance experience
Experience in anti-bribery & corruption, data protection or competition law.
High level of business acumen and experience in managing, developing and successfully embedding compliance programmes in an international FMCG company.
Understanding and experience of financial processes and controls, such as different ERP systems.
