Job Description

Based in Shanghai, China, the Commercial Director will be instrumental in reinforcing the company's market leadership in the region across key industries.

This this role involves leading a high-performing sales team and building strategic relationships with key accounts and senior decision-makers. Your primarily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the launch of new solutions, positioning the company to capture significant market opportunities.
  • Strengthen leadership of the regional sales function, overseeing and guiding sales efforts across multiple locations.
  • Drive a strategic key account management approach, focusing on major clients while reinforcing mid-market segments to capture growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives across the region, leveraging an extensive local and regional network.
  • Combine strategic vision with hands-on execution, including fieldwork and travel within the region.
  • Actively support deal closures to ensure business growth and operational excellence.
  • Maintain safe, ethical, and values-aligned business practices.

The Successful Applicant

  • MSc or BSc in Engineering or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 20 years of B2B sales experience in technology, cloud-based solutions, and Industry 4.0 equipment.
  • Proven leadership managing multicultural teams with strong operational and strategic capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of local business culture, competitive landscape, and strong cultural sensitivity.
  • Established C-level network in China's industrial and manufacturing sectors to influence key stakeholders.
  • International experience supporting global accounts, delivering customer-focused solutions.
  • Comfortable with extensive travel and hands-on engagement to drive business growth.
