About Our Client

A fast-growing luxury house with a strong heritage and a newly established presence in Asia is seeking a Regional Commercial Director to lead its retail and commercial operations across APAC. With boutiques in key regional markets and ambitious expansion plans, this is a rare opportunity to shape the trajectory of a brand entering its next phase of growth.

This is a perm role based in Singapore.

Job Description

You will report directly to the COO. This leadership position is ideal for someone who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and is passionate about building teams, elevating client experiences, and driving commercial success. Key responsibilities include:

  • Retail Leadership: Oversee boutique operations across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia, ensuring excellence in client service and team performance.
  • Strategic Expansion: Lead market development initiatives and support new store openings across APAC.
  • Brand Representation: Serve as the regional face of the brand-engaging with high-value clients, press, and partners.
  • Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and people-first culture.
  • Commercial Strategy: Drive revenue growth, optimize retail operations, and contribute to long-term business planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global HQ and regional marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and local relevance.

The Successful Applicant

In order to be successful in the role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or any related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in luxury retail, with a strong background in sales, commercial strategy, or retail operations-ideally within fragrance, fashion, or beauty.
  • Proven success in managing multi-market operations and leading boutique teams.
  • A strategic mindset with hands-on operational capabilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural ability to connect with clients and stakeholders.
  • A collaborative spirit and a genuine passion for team building.
  • Willingness to travel and immerse in diverse markets.
