About Our Client

Our client was incorporated to serve the GST registered companies and became a Business Partner for all major brands and began supplying IT products and services to fortune 500 companies and multi-national companies.

Job Description

Below are some key responsibilities:

  • Professional services to support onsite Virtual Private Cloud related infrastructure build and breakfix in Data Center
  • Plan / Schedule and work closely with OEM vendors on physical installation, configuration, testing and break-fix for hardware
  • Ensure all hardware for server, storage, network, and storage are mounted as per our design
  • Work with customer team and vendor engineers for onsite troubleshooting
  • Follow up on cablings and patching request
  • To raise required process to follow customer change and control for onsite access
  • Provide physical hands-on support for all server hardware, e.g. power-cycle or reboot

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate must :

  • Knowledge on server hardware, SAN storage and networking components (routers & switches)
  • Technical know-how of server components, e.g. HDD, CPU, RAM, network, and storage cards
  • Ability to effectively communicate across multiple teams, multitasking skills are required
  • Good trouble shooting skills/Detailed oriented with good organizational skills
