Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible etc.) to streamline deployment processes
  • Ensure cloud systems adhere to security policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices
  • Manage source code repositories using tools such as Bitbucket or Gitlab, integrating them into automated CI/CD workflows
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize cloud performance, availability, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployment, scaling and performance improvements
  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend continuous improvement initiatives



The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
  • At least 3-5 years of practical experience in cloud engineering with GCP strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security and regulatory compliance
  • Hands-on experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
  • Familiarity with Git-based version control systems such as Bitbucket or GitLab
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless technologies
  • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments is an advantage
