Key responsibilities for this role include managing a team of actuaries, valuation tasks on a monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly basis with reports to MAS and LIA; product conceptualisation and pricing; product implementation; post product launch; support and leadership on business planning, preparation of ORSA reports and ad hoc tasks and projects from CEO.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate would have 7-10 years + experience in actuarial industries, ideally in life insurance, previous experience dealing with regulators in Singapore. This person would be currently a Chief Actuary or an experienced Sr Actuary, he/she should have experience leading a team. If not already in a Chief Actuary role, they must have the desire to step up to a Chief Actuary position to progress their career and have the initiative to have more interaction with Senior Stakeholders in the company to move forward projects and company initiatives. This role will report directly to the Regional CEO of the company.
