About Our Client
Our Client is a top luxury retail industry, with focus on offering devices and software solutions to their customers. They aim to deliver optimal value proposition for travel retail proprietor, which is why they are seeking for Assistant Buyer (multi-brand experience) to assist them and contribute in this area.
As a key stakeholder within the Merchandizing and Operations team, you will be a major contributor for any analytical and strategic proposition in buying, with core responsibilities such as:
* To help out in routine buying activities to support operations to reach business objectives.
* To replenish inventory on a weekly basis.
* To collaborate with key stakeholders (operation & suppliers).
* To assist with product development and follow up with suppliers.
* To retain accuracy and updates on all relevant correspondence with suppliers.
The Successful Applicant
You should have a Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics and have significant years of related working experience in the FMCG/ Retail Industry from a Buyer/Merchandizing background. It is essential that you can demonstrate your experience in purchasing from multi-categories or mass retail. Your knowledge in SAP would be an additional advantage.
