About Our Client

Our client is a leading global electronic payments provider to banking and merchant partners globally. In line with their success, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to manage the sales & business development activities across banks, fintechs and other relevant target segments.

Job Description

The Business Development Manager will manage the sales & business development activities across banks, fintechs and other relevant target segments, spread across retail & corporate technology verticals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for generating revenues through new customer acquisition
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to remain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling.
  • Establish overall sales & business development strategy for the country. Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, process and ensure business delivery & profitability.
  • Ability to comprehend P&L & financial drivers and structure and close profitable deals.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives and create strategies for expansion into new markets.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in Sales/Business Development in following areas - Real Time Payment, Payment Gateway, Card Management Services Products, Outsourcing Services, Online Commerce/Payment Gateway Services, Retail Payment Technology Solution Fields, Core Banking, etc.
  • Successful experience in Sales & Account Management leadership, preferably in top payment organizations
  • Experience in enterprise selling / solution selling in high growth environment and ability in closing deals with midsize and large companies.
