About Our Client
The Regional Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the sales strategy together with the HQ in Europe and the APAC HQ in Singapore. You will represent the brand with the highest potential in their portfolio driving strong relationships with their partners, architects, consultants, contractors and end-users.
- Develop sales strategy in the APAC region aligned with overall headquarters' plans
- Foster strong relationships with the current distributors and develop new customer based
- Represent the brand in the APAC market, organizing marketing activities and expanding the brand awareness in the region
- Generate incremental business, hunting for new projects & customers while maintaining the existent customer base
- Educate partners, contractors and end-users on product capability both on its futures and also on installation methodology
- Work in a matrix environment with local leadership team and Europe leadership team to assure strategy execution regarding growth, customer satisfaction, quality, and logistics, finance.
The Successful Applicant
- Excellent track record in growing a business to a regional capacity within building construction materials
- Minimum of 7 years of experience selling high value building materials regionally
- Value mind-set - ability to sell premium products in a competitive market landscape, able drive solution selling in order to achieve a win-win situation
- Independent, self-motivated and organized
- Experience selling Ceilings, Wall, Flooring, Door, HVAC systems or other high value solution in the construction sector would be preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin (verbal and written) as some clients only use Mandarin for business
