About Our Client

The client is a leading general insurance firm.

Job Description

* Makes recommendations for business process improvements with an understanding of technical problems and solutions.

* Works closely with Business to understand business requirements, gather and analyze information and to provide business solutions (includes robotic process automation, business process improvement, system / application enhancements, etc.)

* Acts as a liaison between Operations and other business units, and facilitates workshops / meetings to steer discussions towards gaining agreement on requirements and issues.

* Analyze complex production problems; implement appropriate short-term and long-term solutions. Reinforce proper internal control plus quality assurance measure where necessary.

* Develops the overall implementation plan and facilitates implementation efforts across the different teams.

* Develops and maintains technical and business knowledge in areas of Operation process-flows, system interfaces and functionalities, and business models.

* Document processes and SOPs, including internal support documentation.

* Any other duties, projects or functions assigned by the manager.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualified
  • At least 3 years of Business Analyst experience within financial services/insurance industry
  • Excellent communication skills required to liaise with internal stakeholders
  • Able to commit for 12 months
