This role supports the Product Owner by partnering with business stakeholders to translate requirements into user stories, manage the product backlog, and deliver digital features using Agile practices across web and platform initiatives. The Business Analyst drives end-to-end delivery including process optimisation, UAT, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination within a regulated financial services environment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate requirements into clear product deliverables
  • Review existing processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and enhancement
  • Support delivery of strategic and tactical initiatives using Agile methodologies
  • Manage and prioritise the product backlog and roadmap in line with business needs
  • Create user stories and acceptance criteria, and lead User Acceptance Testing
  • Track delivery progress to ensure timely execution and compliance with regulatory requirements

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Degree in Business or a related discipline
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner within financial services or insurance
  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery and project tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Proven experience delivering or rolling out digital initiatives and projects
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment; adaptable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
