Our client develops and markets a range of over-the-counter and prescription medicines to Australasia, Asia-Pacific, South Africa and other international markets. Their product portfolio includes weight management, pain management, dermatology, cardiology, respiratory health and allergy.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis
o Cross-functional stakeholder engagement
o Understanding of business processes, including documentation, if required
o Development and documentation of requirements
o Proposal of approaches to deliver solutions that meet the requirements
o Establishing the Business Analysis capability at iNova to support all Functions. Establishing specific project and operational processes, plans, standards and governance for all Functions where required.
o The Business Analyst will be required to work independent and effectively as part of the team

Computer System Validation
o Apply the Computer System Validation operating model and documents templates to all applicable systems (~12)
o Deliver validation plans and the defined documents for new in-scope projects
o Maintain and update documents for established systems, either during enhancement delivery, major version upgrades, or periodic reviews.
o Conduct supplier audits for suppliers of key systems

Other activities
o While the above items will fill 60-80% of the role, there will be items, of a more ad hoc nature, that require the support of a business analyst
o These may include major project support or operational initiatives that are of a less regular nature. This includes managing large project and/or processes with limited/to no direction from the manager.
o Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to colleagues throughout the organisation. Including up to Director level.
o Regular communication and building relationships with all members of the organisation. Including Leadership and many of the Function Directors.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Led requirements development session in a software context
  • Developed documentation that reflects requirements i.e. functional requirements or requirements tractability matrix
  • Demonstrated excellent planning, structure, and project management
  • Taken ownership of end-to-end processes for engaging stakeholder for initial session to deliverable/output signoff
  • The ability to work through problems that are difficult and often complex
  • Exceptional interpersonal and general communication skills - must be able to make technology simple to understand and develop cohesive narratives to support technical delivery
  • A team player with a collaboration-oriented mindset
  • Ability to own a capability area from planning to delivery and operations
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills and environment change
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies

  • Be prepared to respond to urgent business needs outside of normal hours (only occasional)
