Job Description

  • Advise clients on complex banking and finance transactions, including fund finance, corporate finance, asset finance, securitisation, capital market.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to local and international laws.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support client needs and address unique challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction execution.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities and building client relationships.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of banking and finance industry trends and regulations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all client requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Banking & Finance Associate should have:

  • A strong academic background in law with relevant professional qualifications.
  • A qualified lawyer from Singapore and another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as England & Wales, Australia, New Zealand) with minimum 5 post qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in handling banking and finance transactions within professional services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client interaction.
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple tasks effectively.
