Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, the AVP, Compliance Quality Assurance will be involved in the following:-

  • Establish and implement a robust compliance and AML assurance program to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies and to effectively manage regulatory & licensing, AML / Sanctions and privacy risks.
  • Conduct compliance and AML reviews including performing review on EWRA results and methodology, monitor progress of issues and drive remediation initiatives to address non-compliant areas.
  • Provide periodic assurance and review progress summary to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify industry best practices and share insight with the relevant group and bank teams on a regular basis.

The Successful Applicant

To qualify, the potential AVP, Compliance Quality Assurance should meet the following criteria :-

  • A recognised Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant compliance quality assurance experience within banking.
  • Able to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
