About Our Client

Our client is a reputable Asian bank with a strong trade finance franchise across the region. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to hire an Assistant Relationship Manager to support relationship coverage and credit activities for corporate clients.

Job Description

  • Support Relationship Managers in managing a portfolio of corporate clients, including attending to day-to-day enquiries and transactional needs
  • Prepare and present new credit applications, including financial analysis, industry review and credit structuring
  • Handle credit renewals, periodic reviews and monitoring to ensure compliance with bank credit policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Support deal execution across trade finance products such as LCs, SBLCs, trust receipts, bank guarantees and bills discounting
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders including credit, compliance, operations and Head Office for approvals and documentation
  • Maintain high levels of KYC/AML compliance and assist in onboarding of new customers
  • Prepare monthly reports and support management in portfolio monitoring

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate banking or trade finance
  • Knowledge of trade products and ICC rules such as UCP, ISP98 and URC
  • Familiarity with credit processes, financial analysis and client servicing
  • Proactive, organised and comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders
