Job Description

  • Oversee daily financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and analyse financial data to provide actionable insights.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes effectively.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within the accounting and finance department.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure financial goals are met.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Finance Manager should have:

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related field; CA/CPA/ACCA preferred
  • Min 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within a family office, investment firm, asset manager, or fund environment
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and budget management.
  • Strong understanding of investment accounting and alternative investment structures
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Experience with accounting software and financial systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks effectively.
