About Our Client
Our client is a UK Listed Multinational in the services industry with over 150 offices worldwide. As one of the leading players in the industry, the group is focusing in Asia region as one of their growth areas. There is now an exciting opportunity to join their APAC HQ to lead the regional payroll function.
As the APAC payroll manager, you will lead and manage the payroll function, liaising closely with the APAC HR and Finance Shared services, external vendors and outsourced payroll providers to ensure an accurate and timely flow of the regions' payroll. As the organization is rapidly expanding, you will spearhead and lead projects in implementing new payroll platforms and improve the existing payroll operations model, aimed at building a robust payroll function. You will refine and develop the SLAs, drive the implementation or improvements of operational dashboards and continually drive the "best-in-class" service to the internal and external customers.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should hold a relevant degree in Accountancy/ Finance or Commerce with at least 10 years of experience in a mid-large sized multinational. You should be comfortable delivering on operations goals and process transformation. You should be fluent and resourceful in employment tax and laws in the region to ensure compliant and accurate reporting in the APAC countries we operate in. Additionally, you have a strong track record of success in building client and stakeholder relationships. A highly self-motivated and passionate individual, you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with different cultures.
