Following the latest development of ESG team structure, they are looking for a seasoned leader to join the global ESG team.Job DescriptionReporting to the group head of ESG, you will be working as part of the global team sitting either in Singapore or Hong Kong and taking care of ESG initiatives predominantly in APAC region where it is the key market.You will start off as an individual contributor but you are expected to be the 2nd-in-charge for the ESG domain globally. You will be expected to work closely with different C-level suite including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer on deriving the appropriate ESG-oriented product innovations/management and strategies while you will be partnering with different local ESG teams to ensure the overall direction is aligned. You are expected to be playing an active role in driving thought leadership externally while acting as the subject matter expert internally on matters like environmental protection, biodiversity and climate changes etc.The Successful ApplicantTo qualify, you should be a seasoned ESG professional with good understanding about ecoystem in b2c financial services sector (retail bank, insurance, money lender) so you can understand the business and talk to them on same language - you can either be already working in-house or working in consultancy/vendors/services providers/non-profit as long as you can demonstrate your related knowledge. While fundamental knowledge in ESG policies/reporting standard will be expected, you need to be a senior leader who can be comfortable talking to C-level while being able to see big picture and drive the necessary changes and transformation in a complex multinational.What's on OfferIt is a well-known platform globally with competitive package offered.
