About Our Client
Our Client is a US multinational, a prominent market leader in the area of healthcare it operates in and boasts a global footprint. Due to expansion in the Asia Pacific region, there is a newly created role for an APAC Compliance Director to be part of the rapidly growing business.
Reporting to the global Chief Compliance Officer and managing a team across APAC, you will be responsible for strategizing, building and driving the organisation's compliance policies, guidelines and programs and maintaining a high level of ethics while aligning to business strategies and goals for the Asia Pacific region. This would include policies that govern industry practices, internal processes and external communication etc. You will also participate in key compliance audits, investigations and provide training on compliance and ethics matters. Travel up to 50% in the APAC region should be expected.
The Successful Applicant
You are Degree qualified with at least 15 years of relevant Compliance experience gained in the healthcare industry. Fluency in Mandarin is essential due to frequent interactions with internal and external stakeholders in the North Asia region. You should have a thorough understanding of the industry and the corresponding regulations and laws to be adhered to. An established leader and strong communicator, you have a proven track record of business partnering and influencing. You possess excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills and an aptitude for working with diverse cultural groups.
