This role offers the opportunity to manage the full spectrum of Accounts Payable operations while working closely with a regional Shared Service Centre in the Philippines. Reporting directly to a highly supportive Finance Director, the role also covers statutory reporting and financial close activities for the Singapore entity.

Job Description

  • Take full ownership of the AP function including daily operations, month-end closing, and year-end processes
  • Act as the primary contact for the Shared Services Centre (SSC) in the Philippines, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Assist with financial forecasting and cash flow planning
  • Prepare and submit GST filings, employee benefits-in-kind reports, and statutory reports
  • Support internal and external audit processes
  • Assist with financial reporting for both Group and statutory requirements
  • Participate in ad-hoc reporting and finance projects as needed

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Financial Reporting, ideally within a multinational corporation
  • Prior experience in a Shared Services environment is an advantage
  • Proficiency in SAP is essential
  • Solid understanding of both local and international accounting standards (IFRS)
  • Quick learner who is adaptable and capable of working independently
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
