Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager

As an Accountant, you will be involved in financial reporting, cash flow management, reconciliations, and budgeting. This role offers exposure to a broad range of finance functions, working closely with cross-functional teams to support business operations.

About Our Client

Our client is listed F&B manufacturer founded in Hong Kong with presence across multiple markets including Mainland China, Singapore, Australia, and etc.

Job Description

  • Prepare and monitor weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Manage cash payments and receipts in line with forecasted requirements
  • Compile financial reports, including the Hong Kong (HKG) financial report pack for senior management
  • Support interim and year-end closing by preparing the final financial pack
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations and assist in financial planning processes
  • Generate key financial reports, including monthly Top 10 customer reports and departmental sales reports
  • Prepare audit schedules and liaise with both internal and external auditors
  • Conduct monthly/weekly bank reconciliations and process GST reports
  • Manage purchase order processing in the NAV system and collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters
  • Oversee customer account receipts and assist with stock-taking activities
  • Handle journal adjustments, accruals, and financial reporting tasks
  • Administer Fixed Assets (FA) management, including creation, disposal, and invoice matching
  • Support the Head of Finance with various ad-hoc financial and operational requirements



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cash flow management, and reconciliations
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
