Due to their rapid expansion within the Asia-Pacific Region, an excellent opportunity exists for an ambitious and highly motivated professional to join the team as an APAC Supply Planner to support the current growth.

Job Description

Reporting to the Manager/Senior Manager, Supply & Demand, you will be responsible for planning & managing supply to meet demand of products within the Asia-Pacific region. You will manage suppliers to ensure an optimal supply on a timely basis to the various Distribution Centers in the region to fulfill customers needs & requirements through close tracking and managing the supply chain. You will combine the demand forecast with a detailed knowledge of supply chain lead times to set appropriate planning parameters to drive timely replenishment to the DCs.

Your Other Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with Demand Planners & Suppliers (OEMs/ODMs) to set appropriate inventory targets, taking into account demand variability, demand risks and opportunities, as well as supply chain lead time variables and constraints
  • Understand the supply chain from the suppliers to the DCs, and develop quantitative supply chain models to maintain accurate procurement lead time.
  • Ensure new product launches on time and working on supply availability with suppliers with Regional Supplier Managers
  • Ensure End of Life products are transitioned appropriately through the EOL processes and work with RMA Specialists to return excess, end of life, aged consignment inventory to suppliers

The Successful Applicant
You must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of related working experience and extensive knowledge in Supply Chain Planning or Analytical Role i.e Supply Planning in a Manufacturing (FMCG) environment. You should possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, having the ability to work effectively in a highly diverse, global, multi-functional environment that works across multiple time zones. You must have the ability to take ownership, prioritize work-loads and make decision and work well under pressure in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. Strong proficiency in SAP and Excel (Advanced Level) is required.
