Job Description

This is a Regional role based in Singapore. You will be driving assignments in the Supply Chain Pacific Operations team. The key responsibilities include:

• Lead logistics solutions for finished goods and service businesses. The solutions cover bulk freight, warehousing, parcel delivery services, manufacturing back end pick-pack processes and returns

• Liaise with the Operations and IT teams to realize optimized processes which includes 3PL freight and warehousing systems, shipment tracking systems and freight billing ? all under the SAP platforms

• Lead Logistics cost reviews and identify cost-saving initiatives by working closely with Country Managers and giving consultation on changing trends in spending as well as innovating value chain opportunities

• Manage regional RFQs for freight and warehousing, build data models and perform detailed analysis on international freight costs, warehousing costs and domestics distribution costs

• Become the Program Manager of 3rd party freight payment which includes driving 3PLs for billing errors and compliance as well as manage all the rates in APAC for freight and warehousing

The Successful Applicant
You have about 8-10 years of experience in the supply chain environment especially in warehousing, freight transportation, distribution and reverse logistics. Coming from an industrial engineering background, you have experiences with high tech industry/consumer electronics supply chain as well as SAP logistics platforms. You also have exposure in previous Regional roles. Excellent analytical skills and logistics cost modeling is a must. As a self-motivated individual and Leader, you have effective communication capability.
