About Our Client
Our Client is a Major Local Food & Beverage Organization offering a large range of products and services; touching the lives of millions of consumers locally. In line with their current commitment to Procurement & Sourcing Strategies and recent business growth, we are recruiting a highly motivated and results oriented Supply Chain (Manager) Team Lead, to help drive the Procurement & Sourcing function locally.

Job Description

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Supply Chain; you will be assisting the Assistant Director to oversee the steps that comprise the supply chain process: planning development, manufacturing, logistics & distribution. You will direct the Supply Chain Process and ensure that every step of the process is functioning effectively to avoid costly delays and lost sales opportunities. You will also be responsible for monitoring macro trends in supplier and contract base and implement plans to react, building & developing relationships with key suppliers and customers.

Your Other Responsibilities include:

  • Implementation of Procurement Strategy & Policies & Forecasting Procurement needs
  • Manage the purchasing department to achieve most optimum purchases on food and non-food items, daily market list, operating equipment, fixed furniture and equipment and other general purchases
  • Continuously update market information and sources of new products/materials and improving the purchasing function and systems to enhance operational efficiency
  • Source for materials/products locally or overseas and negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve best price; seeking costs reduction opportunities

The Successful Applicant
You must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of related working experience in Procurement & Sourcing in the Food & Beverage/Hospitality & Tourism Industry. You must possess an extensive Knowledge in Sourcing & Procurement and Vendor Management. You must have a proven track record in developing & implementing sourcing & category strategies and experience in high dollar value contract negotiations. You must also possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, having the ability to work effectively in a highly diverse and fast-pace environment. Prior Experience in the Food & Beverage/Hospitality & Tourism Industry is highly advantageous.
