Job Description

As part of the MSS (Market Survey System) team in Singapore you will be tasked with gathering Market Intelligence and supplier information on groups supplying into the Oil & Gas Industry both offshore and onshore. You will become a market expert and provide a valuable input to your client's sourcing and procurement strategies.

Working on behalf of the world's largest Oil & Gas multinationals you will determine who is buying what and where they are buying from; information that is invaluable to your clients, as the products that you manage will cover the majority of their Capital Expenditure budget.

You will also produce supply/demand analysis reports to predict where future supply constraints will occur and supplier assessments to allow your clients to make educated choices on supplier selection.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be degree qualified with at least 5 years experience within a Management Consultancy, Market Intelligence or Purchasing role ideally with exposure to the Oil & Gas Industry. You will have good analytical skills but, more importantly, strong presentation and communication skills that will allow you to transmit relevant information in a way that adds value and allows you to build strong relationships with your clients.

You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team and have a good understanding of the concepts around best practice procurement and supplier management.
