About Our Client

They aim to maintain and improve their current performance regionally and internationally and as part of this commitment, they are looking for a Senior Demand Planner (APAC) to assist them and contribute in this area.

Job Description

Being in an Individual Contributor Role and reporting directly to the Senior Manager - Regional Demand Planning, you are responsible for analyzing key demand information and translating all those data to effective forecasts and gaps identification. You will monitor sales trends - seasonal buy optimization, product history, and marketing plans and use all this information to propose strategic business operation plans and projects. You will perform trend analysis and other forecast techniques to assess the demand risk or opportunities associated with different markets and channel partners' forecast.

Your other responsibilities include:

• Provide accurate and timely supply, demand, and inventory position plans to customer facing partners
• Regional Inventory Optimization - developing optimal inventory strategies and determining safety stock levels
• Ascertain level of forecast accuracy and understanding production lead time and lead time variances
• Review Inventory situation across the region, analyze and recommend follow-up actions to address ageing inventory
• Take full ownership and facilitate in Division Sales & Operations Plan (S&OP) process

The Successful Applicant
You must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree with at least 8 years of related working experience in the required capacity and have a high proficiency in manipulating data in Microsoft Excel and SAP. You must have an excellent track record in Demand Planning, Forecasting and S&OP Planning and Review within a fast-paced environment, ideally within the FMCG industry. You should possess strong planning and analytical skills and be able to take complex issues and break down actions for resolutions and working with tight deadlines with a hands-on approach. You must also possess excellent influencing and communication skills with the ability to work well at all levels.
