Our client is a pharmaceutical multi-national company with a strong global presence with manufacturing and research facilities worldwide. It has a large portfolio of pharmaceutical products treating major disease areas such as asthma,digestive, anti-virals, diabetes and cardiovascular areas.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be required to perform the following responsibilities:

• Manage routine manufacturing operation, including preparation of documentation relating to plant turnaround and route manufacturing;
• Handle process & plant optimization work in support of routine manufacture;
• Perform process & plant troubleshooting;
• Support the Manufacturing Lead in new product introduction or plant trials, and prepare and complete all necessary documents related to plant trial within the stipulated time line;
• Participate in audit preparation in the assigned work area(s) to ensure compliance with GMP and safety requirements.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will be required to meet the following criteria:

• Honours Degree in Chemical Engineering;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry;
• Proven track record in project execution;
• Initiate cost effective optimization of processes;
• Improve and standardize procedures and standards to achieve operational excellence.
