About Our Client
One of the largest global paints and coatings companies, and a major producer of specialty chemicals which are supplied to a wide range of industries worldwide, my client is looking for an experienced Procurement professional to continue to lead the Asia team forwards.

Job Description

Reporting direct to the CEO - AsiaPac, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the Asia multi-functional Sourcing Strategy development & implementation process for raw materials, packaging, services and consumables
• Ensuring the security of supply for all plants across the Asia region
• Managing the key supplier relationships and lead the key negotiation processes
• Developing the management skills of the more senior commercial staff through training and coaching

The Successful Applicant
You should have an in depth knowledge of the coatings industry and supply base, and have a proven track record within a multi national company of running a complex procurement function. You should have proven negotiation and strategic sourcing skills, be a natural leader with strong inter-personal capabilities and have the ability to influence stakeholders both inside and outside the company.
