About Our Client
Our client is a pharmaceutical multi-national company with a strong global presence with manufacturing and research facilities worldwide. It has a large portfolio of pharmaceutical products treating major disease areas such as asthma,digestive, anti-virals, diabetes and cardiovascular areas.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties:

• Development and delivery of a common electrical engineering maintenance strategy;
• Delivering a safe and secure source of supply for manufacturing facilities;
• Provide technical support to all GMS site electrical teams;
• Provide technical support to Global Capital Projects;
• Provide technical support to energy management and efficiency initiatives;
• Act as a senior authorized person for high voltage operations;
• Support the development of equipment specifications for electrical equipment, defining the standard of electrical equipment to be used across all sites and working with engineering procurement determine the preferred vendors of this equipment;
• Support the development of the electrical maintenance strategy as detailed in GES 404 for all electrical equipment ensuring the equipment is maintained to meet regulatory requirements;
• Support the development of electrical global spares strategy;
• Support the delivery of the audit programme to ensure compliance against GES’s.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will be required to meet the following criteria:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
• At least 8 years of electrical experience in a manufacturing plant or a site with more than 500 employees;
• Authorized person for high voltage electrical work;
• A Chartered Electrical Engineer under a recognised institution;
• Experienced in Project Management managerial role;
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organisation across geographies and cultures;
• An OE Green Belt.
