Job Description

Reporting directly to the Regional Purchasing Manger (Asia-Pacific), you will be responsible for defining and implementing key purchasing strategies relative to the purchasing categories i.e. Food & Beverage and Operating Supplies (Hospitality Equipment & Upkeep Products & Supplies;

Your Other Responsibilities include:

• Defining & Implementing Group Purchasing Strategy
• Sourcing & Procurement of responsible commodities
• Develop, Evaluate and Audit Suppliers and supporting ad-hoc sourcing & procurement activities
• Price & Contract negotiation of regional contracts; with close co-ordination with European Category Buyers
• Create savings on Purchase Prices & on Total Cost of Ownership

The Successful Applicant
You must possess at least a Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Sourcing and Purchasing/Procurement of Food & Beverage commodities. You must also possess excellent co-ordination, organizing and planning skills with the ability to work independently as well as a good team player. You must be customer service oriented with strong negotiation skills and business acumen. You should possess excellent communication & influencing skills and you MUST be bilingual in English and Chinese. Prior Experience in dealing with China Suppliers or Organizations will be highly advantageous.
