About Our Client
Our client is a European multinational in the pharmaceutical industry with a growing presence in Asia. Due to expanding business, there is now an opportunity to join their regional office in Singapore as the Regional Business Controller and focus on their growth in the Asia Pacific Region. The regional office is responsible for the performance of more than 10 countries.

Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, you will perform business analysis and evaluations to identify opportunities for improvements and participate in strategic planning to support the Asia Pacific regional operations. Working proactively with senior management and country managers, you will review and analyse financial results, develop and monitor KPIs for the countries; to achieve the strategic business objectives. You will play a key role in important projects across the region including building strong business cases to be presented to Executive Management in HQ in Europe as well as implementation of the approved projects. You will need to liaise closely with the different stakeholders to understand the key business drivers, market trends and patterns and contribute in driving the regional expansion plans.

The Successful Applicant
You would have a minimum tertiary education in Economics/Finance/International Trade/Business or a Masters qualification with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience. Financial modeling expertise is crucial in this role. Experience from a regional role would be considered an advantage. You have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to build key relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You are highly motivated and possess excellent commercial acumen. You also have strong analytical skills while having a macro perspective on the market. Traveling will be required in this role.
