About Our Client
Our client is a leading international legal practice who offers a business law service from offices across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Her offices in Beijing and Shanghai have a team of some nine partners and over twenty other lawyers.

Job Description
In this role, you will work closely with senior associates and partners, participating actively on transactions, working on high profile transactions including lending, asset finance and project finance, such as Initial development and financing of a project; restructuring and refinancing of projects; project mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions and advises both buyers and sellers of individual projects and project companies.

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be at least 5 years' post-qualified and with the eagerness to join a challenging and exciting work environment being exposed to high profile transactions. The candidate should be qualified in a commonwealth jurisdiction or in the US from a leading international firm. Prior international law firm experience required and you must have excellent communication skills. Both English and Chinese language skills are required (oral level of conversational business Mandarin is a minimum). Overseas corporate finance lawyers working with strong brand names will also be considered.
