About Our Client
Our client is a pharmaceutical multi-national company with a strong global presence with manufacturing and research facilities worldwide. It has a large portfolio of pharmaceutical products treating major disease areas such as asthma,digestive, anti-virals, diabetes and cardiovascular areas.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties:

• Manage routine manufacturing operation, including plant turnaround documentation;
• Handle process & plant optimization work in support of routine manufacture;
• Perform process & plant troubleshooting;
• Support the manager in new product introduction by preparing and completing all necessary documents related to plant trial;
• Participate in audit preparation in the assigned work area(s) to ensure compliance with GMP and safety requirements.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will require the following criteria:

• At least a degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant Science/Engineering discipline
• At least 3 years' relevant experience in a pharmaceutical plant operation would be preferred
• Good troubleshooting skills Strong leadership & effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Hands-on experience in process commissioning will be an advantage
