Job Description

You will be involved in providing general microbiology support

- Maintain and manage a high standard microbiology laboratory

- Manage third parties suppliers in the field of laboratory equipment and consumable

- Coordinate the process of collection of the clinical samples with clinical trial manager

- Plan and perform analysis of clinical samples using state of the art molecular tools (FISH -Q-PCR)

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary scientific project team (Immunology, Clinical trial, Nutrition) for the execution of laboratory analysis

- Develop and validate new microbiological analytical methods related to the area of gut microbiology

- Document results and give support in communicating them (oral and written)Provide general microbiology support- Maintain and manage a high standard microbiology laboratory

The Successful Applicant

You are an ideal candidate with Bachelor degree in the field of Microbiology or related disciplines (Food Microbiology, Molecular Ecology, Molecular Biology)

- Preferably a few years of experience in an R&D laborartory

- Hands-on in molecular techniques (FISH, q-PCR),

- Knoweldege of some bioinformatics and statistical tools is an asset

- Experience in data analysis and reporting

- Good communication skills, and responsiveness to interaction with multidisciplinary teams

- Be results oriented, pro-active and a team player.

- Fluency in English (oral and in writing), local language is an asset.
