About Our Client
One of the best rated banks in the region, they offer a wide array of financial services, ranging from consumer, corporate, investment, private banking services. We are looking for a Market Risk Manager to provide enterprise-wide oversight of the management and, monitoring and control of trading and non-trading market risk.

Job Description
You will be responsible for managing a team with MRM to continue development and the enhancement of MRM’s Reporting Infrastructure. You will also be responsible for all data and information process-related activities within MRM. MRM’s Risk and Reporting Infrastructure, data governance and controls will also fall within your duties. You will also liaise as the primary interface between MRM and IT.

The Successful Applicant

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience; Master’s Degree a preferred plus; CPA/CA/CMA/CGA securities/banking industry licenses desired
• Detailed technical knowledge of RDBMS (SQL Server or Oracle)
• Understanding of Murex data model
• Strong analytical problem solving skills
• Good understanding of financial markets
• Superior understanding of financial products and markets
• Mature and results oriented
