Job Description
Reporting to the global General Counsel, you will be the primary in-house legal services provider to the Singapore-based global management team. You will develop strong working relationships with the management team, the global legal team and also manage external legal resources. You will ensure that all legal entities conduct business in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements while working with the regional lawyers to ensure compliance with applicable local laws. Your responsibilities will also include supporting proposed commercial relationships, divestments, M&A matters and any other transactions depending on the business needs.

The Successful Applicant
You must possess a law degree from an accredited and top ranking law school, and at least 6 years relevant experience working in corporate law practice, preferably with some in-house experience. You should have experience working on international long-term and high value contracts, You should possess strong commercial contract negotiation and drafting skills and excellent interpersonal skills to work with multi-cultural and global senior management. Knowledge of international taxation is highly desirable.
