About Our Client
Our client is a leading US law firm with a sizable and established offices across the continents.

Job Description
Working in a very well established Intellectual Property Practice, you will work closely with a senior Partner and a few associates within the team on China Intellectual Property matters. You will prepare legal advice and develop action strategy for trademark, copyright, patent, domain or unfair competition disputes. You will instruct local counsel and coordinate with Chinese authorities including the Administration for Industry and Commerce, Patent Bureau, Copyright Bureau and Public Security Bureau for administrative or criminal action. In addition, you will conduct legal follow-up after the enforcement action.

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer with 5 + years' post-qualification experience, gained in the area of China Intellectual Property work. You should be familiar with both contentious and non-contentious work, and have experience in providing legal advice and action strategy. The ideal candidate will have gained experience with international or leading local law firms. Life science, electronic engineering or computer science background candidates are preferred. Both English and Chinese language skills are required.
