About Our Client
Dominating the Field, Vegetable and Flower seed markets across the US and Europe, our client is a world leader in developing award winning proprietary vegetable seeds and large acre field crops. Looking to grow their market share here in Asia we are now recruiting a Seed Supply Chain Specialist to head the Indonesia business.

Job Description

Reporting to the ASEAN Supply Chain Head, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the highest quality seeds are delivered to customers through end to end management of all supply chain activities including seed production, warehouse inventory and dealer stocks.
• Conducting production research trials to evaluate producibility, COGS, and risks of new products.
• Sourcing or producing enough parent seed sufficient to meet commercial seed requirements.
• Supplying commercial seed to meet annual domestic or regional sales requirement.
• Providing technical support to production growers to improve quality and efficiency of seed production.

The Successful Applicant
You have a degree and ideally an Agricultural based Masters, as well as 8 years supply chain management experience in Asia and a solid understanding of Field or Vegetable seed production. You are a strong leader, a fast learner and have good initiative, and be able to initiate and drive continuous improvement projects. You are results oriented team player, and can relate effectively with crop growers to help improve seed production
