For our client, the world leader in medical research and manufacturing, we are recruiting for a professional Financial Analyst to join their regional team in Singapore.

Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Financial Planning & Analysis Director, you will work closely with various top management in order to achieve the financial goals of objectives. You will have a direct impact on the continuous improvement of the Asia Pacific’s FP&A process through the effective planning analysis and reporting activities including variance, comparative and trend analysis.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide sales & financial reporting, value-added analysis, and continuous improvement of region business processes
• Provide daily and monthly management reports, which include daily sales, sale highlights
• Work closely with regional offices in reporting and analysis of financial and business information to identify issues and business opportunities
• Analyse performance trends and prove commentary on sales and operating expense to improve profitability
• Drive compliance in all finance related matters (CA&C, SOX, Statutory, monthly Closing).

The Successful Applicant

To qualify, you should have:

• At least Degree in accountancy. MBA will be advantageous
• 4-6 years experience in financial / business analysis in multinational environment
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Proven record in identifying potential venues or business process improvements
• Demonstrates ability to drive key initiatives and see them through to successful implementation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with employees of all levels
• Proficient in MS Office, notably in Excel, Outlook
• Analytical, detailed oriented, with a sense of urgency to complete projects
