Job Description
Duties and accountabilities:
- Serving as the primary contact between the assigned client group and Corporate Business Informatics Department (CBI).
- Cultivating and managing relationships with staff at different levels in the assigned client groups gaining credibility as a trusted advisor on IT issues through proactive engagement with the clients.
- Gaining and maintaining in-depth understanding of the clients' business, processes and operating environment.
- Serving as client advocate in CBI to ensure the clients' IT support goals and objectives are met by CBI.
- Strategically guiding clients in the use of IT solutions to improve their capability, productivity and effectiveness in the delivery of IFC's products and services; globally.
- Leveraging knowledge of the clients' business and processes and CBI's capabilities to improve the use of existing tools and services.
The Successful Applicant
Selection criteria:
- Masters degree in IT, Business Administration, Finance or related field with at least five years of relevant experience.
- A good understanding of one or more of the following areas:
- Investment Operations
- Advisory Services
- Risk Management
- Financial Operations
- Accounting and Accounting Standards
- Business Data Management, Information Analysis, Integration and Reporting or other areas of Business Intelligence.
- Proven conceptual, analytical, and evaluative skills; and ability to conduct independent research and analysis, identifying issues, formulating options, and making conclusions and recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships combined with strong customer/client service orientation.
- Excellent facilitation and coordination skills and ability to lead group meetings.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills.
- Ability to operate under pressure with accuracy and professionalism.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding work environment.
- Attention to detail in understanding requirements and resolving issues.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
