Job Description

The COO is responsible for maintaining an appropriate infrastructure model to support the bank's business needs. He or she is required to ensure that effective operational, administrative and financial controls of the bank’s activities are in place and to ensure smooth and efficient operation at all times in order to maximize business and revenue. The COO’s role complements and supports that of the CEO and he/she may undertake a range of strategic and tactical tasks for which the CEO is accountable as delegated by the CEO to the COO. With special regard to the bank’s operational, financial and infrastructure affairs, the COO shall be responsible for the following:

• Bank Meetings;
• Management Oversights;
• Financial Reporting (work with the CFO);
• Branch Operation Controls and Risk;
• Compliance and Regulatory;
• Integration and Strategies;
• Strategy and Fiscal Management;
• Staff/Management.

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should have a background in either finance, compliance or operations, preferably a combination of all three. You will need to be a mature, credible and inspiring people manager, with excellent communications skills both in English and Mandarin.
