About Our Client

Established in 1975, IFFCO is a United Arab Emirates based business house, which manufactures and markets a well-integrated range of consumer products. IFFCO operates under the following business verticals; Fast Moving Consumer Goods ( FMCG ), Commodities, Oils and Fats, Frozen Foods, and Institutional Services. IFFCO also manufactures related derivatives and intermediates associated with these business segments.

In order to strengthen its position in South East Asia (SEA), IFFCO recruits an Area Sales Manager. The position is based in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).

Job Description

The candidate will:

• be responsible for a designated range of products and company's business in SEA;
• estimate market potential;
• develop a business and market plan for company products in SEA indicating therein sales volumes, margins, market share and market spends;
• identify and appoint distributors, engage the distributors with detailed plans for secondary sales, outlet expansion, market activities...
• participate in the training and development of the distributors field force;
• carry out periodic reviews of market performance in order to increase sales potential.

The Successful Applicant

Will have:

• sales/distributor management experience across Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore...
• a strong background in the food industry
• experience in appointing and managing third party distributors
• strong commercial and brand building exposure
• local/home grown brand management experience preferably to international brands exposure
• willingness to travel extensively across SEA
