Job Description

Reporting to the VP, you will be fully responsible for:

• Providing general guidance on KYC policies and regulations and liaising with business functions for day-to-day compliance related issues;
• Managing compliance approvals for KYCs including overseeing progress to meet remediation and renewal timeliness;
• Keeping abreast with market development and new KYC regulations to ensure new rules are implemented and monitored;
• Conducting regular KYC training on the Firm's policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in any field;
• A university degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking /Engineering or related discipline, with some background preferably gained in areas of compliance or audit. Fresh graduates will be considered for assistant analyst roles;
• At least, your 1 first or your 2 first jobs were in the related field is required for this position;
• Preferably Managers specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent. Job role in Regulatory Compliance or equivalent;
• Strong and clear analytical thought process for resolution of compliance / KYC and AML issues;
• Strong inter-personal communication skills;
• Self-driven, enjoys challenges and able to work independently as well as in a team;
• High level of initiative and sense of urgency and able to work within tight deadlines.
