About Our Client
Listed in Europe, our client is a leading multinational in various sectors including energy, power, infrastructure and engineering. They are a pioneer and market leader in its field and are well known for its innovation, creativity and product excellence. With operations in worldwide, they are still growing in key markets across Asia Pacific. As a result, they have a need for a high caliber Risk Manager to join their regional office in Singapore.
Reporting to the Head of Transaction & Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for the risk assessments of project and structured finance transactions in the portfolio of the Energy business in the Asia Australia region. You will monitor, review and manage all transactions, prepare of the credit reports and coordinate on the commercial and legal aspects of individual transactions. You will also ensure loan documentation is in accordance with approval and KYC requirements are met. Working closely with the different teams in the business, you will also assist in queries or issues, train and coach portfolio managers. In addition, you will provide support in complex and structured finance transactions to senior stakeholders in the business. This is a strong business partnering role with senior management, key clients and business stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, you should have a Degree in Finance with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in International Transaction and Risk Management or Credit Management. Strong knowledge in legal, documentation, finance and modelling of large value structured finance transactions such as project finance, asset finance, acquisition/corporate/lease finance is key. You have excellent commercial acumen with broad market knowledge, are highly competent in stakeholder management. A highly motivated self-starter who enjoys working independently and under high pressure. You possess strong communication and presentation skills and is able to negotiate and influence business leaders with confidence.
