About Our Client

Out client is a recently established company in Singapore that has experienced a rocketed growth since they started their business in the region. They offer construction, installation, maintenance and repair services for the thermal power generation industry. They customize and tailor solutions for their clients, providing support and consultancy services to their business. Due to their exceptional growth, they are rapidly expanding and they are now looking for a Regional Sales Manager to support their business globally.

Job Description

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the development of business opportunities for thermal power generation and related equipment; specifically you will:

  • Map, identify, target and manage new and profitable business opportunities as well as increasing and strengthening the relationship with your existing accounts
  • Execute sales, service strategy and business development plans
  • Manage the sales cycle of your product and solutions and monitoring the process in order to be able to provide related customer service
  • Use your consultative and analytical skills to identify winning criteria and describe technical solutions
  • Lead the bid negotiation, coordination and preparation with internal and external parties within the sales community
  • Coordinate with the Legal support for any negotiations with your clients
  • Do any other marketing related activities as required as part of the establishment and expansion of the company

The Successful Applicant

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in sales with a proven track record of closing capital equipment contracts and deals in the power generation sector
  • You are result oriented, sales-driven, consultative and analytical
  • You have experience with negotiating terms and conditions in the power generation sector
  • You are able to work in a small but dedicated team environment and drive processes
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and you are able to present at all levels of the organization
  • You are willing to travel around Asia Pacific and you have had previous regional exposure in the sector Chinese Mandarin or another Asian language will be advantageous due to frequent travel to China
  • You are willing to take on new products and be prepared to take on all tasks associated with the position
